In Easter 2010, I am going to try and get from Sheffield to Budapest with only a £15 travel budget, to raise a minimum of £200 for charity. Last year I hitchiked from Sheffield to Croatia, so it can be done (with some bumps along the way) :)
I have 8 days to get to Budapest via a secret half-way point, hitch-hiking and blagging free train rides anywhere I can.
Dionne and I have decided to take it one step further and rough it as much as possible, sleeping anytime and anywhere, so please feel sorry for us, and donate as much as you can, as we wont be in cosy 4star hotels, more likely a bus shelter in the middle of Europe!!

This event, now in its 10th year, hopes to raise over £65,000 for charity, 85% of which will go to local causes. Catch 22 works with young offenders in the local area, and FABLE provides support for eplilepsy sufferers from the region - both of these will benefit this year, so please give whatever you can to support us supporting them!
There will be more charities that the trip will be supporting, but these two are the only confirmed ones, so stay tuned for more updates!!
