Speyside Trust- The Corrieyairack Challenge · 5 July 2008 ·

Speyside Trust based at Badaguish Cairngorm Outdoor Centre is a small independent charity helping children and adults with special needs, learning or multiple disability enjoy 24-hour respite care and outdoor holidays in the Cairngorms National Park.

Story

For someone who's always said they didnt like riding uphills because it was too hard i seem to have agreed to ride up many this summer.  In aid of the Speyside Handicapped Holidays Trust I, along with two other workmates (Craig McCallum & Gary Whitelaw), will be competing in the Corrieyairack Challenge which consists of a 17mile off road ride up and over the Corrieyairack Pass from Fort Augustus, followed by a 26mile road ride to Kincraig.

If the weather behaves this will be a challenge but if the weather turns it could turn out to be an even bigger challenge.  The current record for the course is around 2hr 45m for the MTB, i would like to aim for under 4hours.  www.corrieyairack.org

I'm up for the challenge as its all in aid of a good cause so please help me out and sponsor me either here online or in person.  We as a team need to raise £200min to compete, i'd personally like to raise somewhere nearer £500 myself if possible.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Speyside Handicapped Holidays Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
