Story
Hi there
It's Rusty. I thought I would update you on what has been going on.
I have been here for a month already and although I still have a long road ahead of me I feel much better. I have special food which is helping me to get strong again, infact my tummy is getting so used to feeding time that sometimes it grumbles if my foster Mum is late in getting my dinner ready!
I spend the day in the Shelter but in the evening time I go home with my foster family where I have my own bed and doggie friends to play with......I can't remember being this happy.
The support shown by animal lovers to help pay for my treatment has been fantastic and will ensure I receive everything I need. As you can see from the top of the page we have reached our target but please, if you can, still donate today as everyday I see new animals arriving at the Shelter who need Wood Greens help just as much as I do.
That's it for now.
Big love and licks
Rusty

Hi, it's Rusty here.
Thank you for visiting my donating page, I really hope you can dig deep to help pay for my care. I don't really understand what 'money' is but believe that without it the treatment I am receiving would not be possible.
I was very poorly when I arrived at Wood Green, I had lost most of my coat and my tummy was so sore. I was taken to a nearby hospital where I was given injections and tablets (yuck!) It was very painful but I felt so bad that I let them do whatever they wanted to me.....I couldn't feel any worse!
I have only been here for a few days but already I feel less depressed, my skin is less itchy and my tummy is not as sore as it gets used to enjoying dinners again!
I remember when I was a handsome dog with a home of my own, that seems a long time ago now but I am lucky that I found my way to Wood Green. I have a long road to recovery but they will care for me for as long as it takes to get me fit and well before they find me a new family to share the rest of my life with.
I'm starting to get the wag back in my tail and that has only become possible due to animal loving people like you.
From the tip of my nose to the wag in my tail, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Woof woof
