For those of you who don't yet know (or have managed to avoid me boring you to tears about my training or the lack of it) I'm running the London Marathon on 26th April.
My Dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June 2007. He passed away on the 31st January 2009 and so I am running in his memory and am raising money for The Brain Research Trust who promote and support research into diseases of the brain and nervous system.
Just to put it into perspective - I'll be running 26 miles and 385 yards or 42.185km in 4 and a bit hours of pain and blisters, after months of cold, dark, wet training and several months worth of sober nights... so now that I've laid it on thick please please sponsor me!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Brain Research Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Thanks very much for your support
