Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I completed the Adidas Womens 5k challenge on Sunday 7th September - jogging, walking and running my way round the course to complete it in 40 minutes. I am aching all over but delighted to have done it - and it didn't even rain! Thanks to everyone who's supported me already - and thanks in advance if you're about to. As you may know, earlier this year I suffered a molar pregnancy, which resulted in a miscarriage at twelve weeks. Most people haven't heard of molar pregnancies. I hadn't. They are fairly rare but can affect anyone and carry a risk of cancer for the mother. (For more information visit www.hmole-chorio.org.uk).
As a result, for the past four months I have been under the care of an expert team by way of follow up and thank Gd, it seems my follow up is going the right way. But much more research is needed into this distressing condition.
This is the first sponsored event I've undertaken and it would mean a lot to me if you could support this cause by sponsoring me.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Treatment and Research Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
