So - finally a reasonably sunny/dryish day in amongst all the torrential rain of the previous weeks and a day off from Wimbledon and I thoroughly enjoyed this race - about 20,000 people do it and the route is fantastic through London from Hyde Park adn along river to Blackfriars round to Westminster Bridge and up Whitehall with bands to cheer you on the way.  Thanks so much to those who have generously donated - really thrilled by the response - and Jack is making an extraordinary recovery - back at school already.  If anyone still would like to donate it is still possible - but not to worry if not.
