The Prostate Cancer Charity
35,000 men in the UK are diagnosed with Prostate Cancer each year and 10, 000 die of it – that’s ONE MAN EVERY HOUR. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the largest and most comprehensive of the charities working specifically in the field of prostate cancer. Our aim is to provide ‘hope for tomorrow’ through the research we fund and ‘practical support for today’ through our helpline, specialist nurses programme, and information services. Your support will help The Prostate Cancer Charity to continue to give hope to our grandfathers, fathers, sons and brothers.

HURRAY!! We've reached £5,000. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far. Thank you very much for visiting my London Marathon sponsorship page. I want to raise as much money as I can for The Prostate Cancer Charity so I would greatly appreciate your support.

I am running in memory of my wonderful Dad, Rowland Potts, who died from prostate cancer on 1st March 2006, aged 59.

Not enough people know how common prostate cancer is. The statistics in the box on the left speak for themselves. If you have a couple of minutes, please also visit The Prostate Cancer Charity website if you want more information on prostate cancer.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Prostate Cancer Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. I have been astounded at how generous everyone has been in donating so far and I have already reached my first fundraising target of £2,000. I then raised the target to £3,000, then £4,000, then £5,000! The sky's the limit now...
