My story
In March, my friend, Clara, announced that she was going to run a marathon this summer. I thought I'd show my support by doing the odd training run with her. The odd run soon turned into more regular runs and before I knew it, I was entered to run the marathon too!
The thought of running 26.2 miles is both exciting and scary, as I'm a marathon virgin, and sometimes I wonder what I've let myself in for. (I'm finding out as the miles increase!) Knowing that I'm doing this for a charity that helps young people to speak up and change their community through music and media, here in the UK and abroad keeps me going.
