Story

Hey,

I'm Ruth and I'm 16 years old and I am in 6th year at Dunblane High School.  This year I'm going to be studying Advanced Higher French and German, Higher Modern Studies and a crash course in Intermediate 2 Spanish.

The charity sending me is Project Trust (www.projecttrust.org.uk) who select school-leavers during a 5-day residential activity based course on the Isle of Coll. All the overseas projects are of huge benefit to the community and don't deprive local people of jobs.

Next year I'm going to be going over to Chile to teach English to a variety of different age groups. To do this I'm going to need to raise £4660. This money will get me there and will cover flights, insurance, food, overseas support etc.

I now have a small problem regarding the fundraising.  I am in danger of getting too much money going directly to Project Trust, leaving me a bit short for visa, inocculations and equipment.  I was wondering if it would be possible for you to make a cheque out to me personally rather than donate here.

I'm so so excited about this so any help you can give would really be appreciated!

thanks

Ruth
