This year I will be a leading a team of staff from The Royal Veterinary College in running the Flora London Marathon to raise funds for the Animal Care Trust. The team includes myself, Professor Quintin McKellar - College Principal, along with Professor David Church - Chair of Small Animal Studies, Dr Alan Wilson - Reader in Veterinary Basic Sciences, Mike Archer - Equine Surgeon and Emma Mitchell - Lecturer in Equine Medicine.
By sponsoring us you will support the Animal Care Trust which raises funds for The
Royal
Veterinary
College. You will help to buy much needed equipment for the College’s hospitals. Recent purchases have included a C02 diode laser for the
Equine
Referral
Hospital, a new X-Ray processor which was installed at the Beaumont Animals’ Hospital and a sterilisation system for the
Queen Mother
Hospital for Animals.
The Animal Care Trust also raises funds to help build new hospital facilities, such as the current Phase 3 development of the
Queen Mother
Hospital for Animals. This means the
Royal
Veterinary
College can provide a state of the art environment to train the veterinary practitioners of the future.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Animal Care Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a
taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost to you.
Thank you for supporting The 2007 RVC Marathon Team.
