Scope Isle of Wight Boat Race · 7 August 2008

We are Scope. We campaign to transform attitudes to disability, tackle injustice and inspire action. We create opportunities and provide information and support that empowers.

Story

Hi All,
Cerebral Palsy is a condition that jumbles up messages between the brain and the muscles and can affect people in many physical ways, for example, make it hard to talk, sit or walk.  Suffers require significant around the clock care and SCOPE works with CP sufferers, their families and carers, providing a range of services to meet their needs enabling them the opportunities to live their lives how they choose. Further details of the charity are available at: www.scope.org.uk

We are competing in a 60-mile boat race around the Isle of Wight on the 22nd September '08 to raise money for Scope, and have a target of £6,000. We have each contributed £100 to take part in the race and now require your help to raise our target amount for charity.

All donations are very welcome, even if you'd prefer to just donate the equivalent of a drink at the local it will all go towards our ambitious goal (we would obviously appreciate as much as poss however!). Please remember to use the Gift Aid option.

Thank you all,
Ross, Matt, Lisa, Sally, Poppy and Adam.
