IT'S ROBBIE'S BIRTHDAY! (or at least it will be on February 13th!)
What do you get the man who has everything? Something that will really stand out, and be really special? He'll probably get thousands of cards - ours might get lost. Early experiments have shown that even if it wasn't really painful to be pushed through a letter box, there isn't enough wrapping paper in the world to wrap us all up, singularly or collectively, in a big box of fans, and February is FAR too cold to just be going with the Well Placed Bows option - and besides, we don't want to send Robbie back into therapy, and we're pretty sure that a mass delivery of his fans on his special day might just send him over the edge...hmm, that Really Special Present Idea was proving to be a real problem!
But we couldn't let Robbie's 35th birthday pass unmarked, so here at RWFU, we put our heads together and came up with - another fundraising page! This time round however, in view of Jan's recent health scare, and knowing how much Robbie loves his mum, we thought it would be nice to have the money go to the British Heart Foundation.
We hope you agree - we know that times are tough right now, but donations start at just £2 - you get the chance to leave a birthday message for Robbie (we'll give his management a nudge in the right direction!), Robbie gets the birthday love, and the British Heart Foundation can carry on with their research into what caused Jan's problems so that in future, sons will not have to watch their mothers spend Christmas in hospital...everybody wins!
