Norwich to Liverpool · 22 January 2013

We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

In the first week of April, I will be cycling from Norwich to Liverpool.

For East Anglia's Children's Hospices. (EACH).

Two hundred and thirty miles over four days. Here's the (approximate) route.

3rd April: Norwich to Spalding

4th April: Spalding to Nottingham

5th April: Nottingham to Upper Hulme, Peak District

6th April: Upper Hulme to Liverpool

I chose EACH because they have to raise around £6m every year to maintain their support for ill and disabled children across the region. And their support for those children's families, too.

With friends who depend on them, I am aware of how gratefully that support is received. And I want to help them continue to deliver it. In my own ludicrous, difficult, ill-advised and tiny way.

I'd appreciate your donations very much.

Cheers!
