Globally, 93 million children of primary school age don’t have access to schooling today. Education isn’t just literacy and numeracy. It’s also HIV/AIDS and drug awareness, health and family planning, income generation skills, and an understanding of civil rights, laws and environmental stewardship. READ international is a non profit organisation that aims to improve access to education worldwide, thereby granting the underprivileged opportunities to achieve development through the power of education. On the twelfth of march, I will be jumping out of a plane (OHMY) in conjunction with The Great Warwick Jump, Warwick University’s annual charity skydive to raise funds for this cause.
