Story
I would like to send a huge Thank you to all our supporters, we have made our first £10,000 and now want to double it.
I am now 17 years old and I was diagnosed as having a brain tumor on 18th July 2008, I have finished my chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment and retino acid treatment, my most recent scans show my tumour is remaining a stable size which is a really positive sign. It has been discovered that my pituitary gland is not functioning very well so I am having to have hormone replacement.
At present I get very tired and achey and have short term memory loss but feel very lucky to still be alive. This is why we aim to raise as much as we can for this charity which was established by my professor at QMC.
I presently raise funds by selling craft items at various venues, if anyone has any craft items they would like to donate or wish to purchase any please contact me on Pamskrafts@hotmail.co.uk
My family and I would like to raise as much money as we can to improve survival rates for this very distressing condition.
I am also now able to offer craft workshops any ideas or donations gratefully accepted.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Children's Brain Tumour Research gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
