Robert & Paula will be running the Great North Run on the 1st of October 2006 in aid of Wakefield Hospice.
Paula ran it last year and is hoping to beat her time of 2h40m this time.
Robert (by his own admission) is fairly unfit, but has managed a 6 ½ mile run in training without any problems. He is staying optimistic about his finish time.
Our friends who were running with us have had to pull out unfortunately. Sarah, who ran with Paula last year, has broken her toe. Sally, who has been a great motivator in training, is around 10 weeks pregnant and is suffering with morning sickness and fatigue. So, the Ryhill4 is now the Ryhill2 !!!
Paula & Robert need your donations for motivation. But, more importantly, Wakefield Hospice need your donation to help with their £2m+ annual running costs. Amazingly, all of their running costs are raised through the generosity of people like you. Very little government funding is available.

We finished !! We ran together and finished in 2h56m. It hurts today (Monday) but we're ready to get our applications in for next years race !!
