Story

www.londonsackrace.co.uk / twitter.com/londonsackrace

Hello. In memory of Ed Tucker's right testicle and in support of the Everyman Cancer Charity we (26 hardy souls) are running a 26.4 mile sack race relay in central London.

On April 7th (the last day of testicular cancer awareness week) we will be bouncing - in a specially designed sack - along the route shown on the picture above.

Starting and ending at Big Ben our route encompasses such smuttily named London landmarks as:

The Ring (in Hyde Park), Cumberland Gate, The Cock Tavern, Cockspur Street, Shaftsbury Avenue, St John’s Wood, Belsize Park, Cock Lane, Prince Albert Road, Back Passage and Cock Hill.

The route does involve some minor artistic diversion along Prince Albert Road but we thought attention to detail was important.

Thanks

Bye

Everyman is an appeal run by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). Every year some 10,000 men lose their lives to prostate cancer and over 2,000 others have their world turned upside down by a diagnosis of testicular cancer. These men are the reason we are fundraising for male specific cancers.
