Hello Sponsorers! As you may have guessed we have all taken part in the ride I organised. It was very successful and everyone enjoyed the day. The journey up there was 8 hours long with the horse lorry, so my horse was very patient! I have asked everybody to hand their money in by the end of novemeber so we will know then how much we have all raised together. Thanks so so much for all you support. It really has gone to a great cause and my husband is so appreciative knowing people care.
This ride was a 15mile sponsored horse ride which took place in Durham. We had 37 riders taking part in the ride which included several young children. The money raised goes to help wounded servicemen/women of the Rifles, their families and the families of the fallen such as our friend Tom Gaden. His children and fiance will receive ongoing support form Care for Casualties, as well as other families like them, thanks to your kindness.
We managed to raise a total of £3432!! Thanks so much to Pauline and her crew at Oakwood stables, as well as Kimberley and Sam.
