Last year we were part of a huge success story for St Gemma's - the Windermere Row raised £88,000 for the Hospice, enough to keep it going for more than one day. This was BRILLIANT news for us, as we physically find it harder and harder to row the lake each year, and the fund-raising aspect takes on a greater status. In our boat, we raised just under £2,000 in 2009, so thank you to all the sponsors who gave so generously to our cause.

This year we have taken the theme of education even more seriously - we are Sad Old St. Trinian's Tarts and we will be sporting ridiculous "uniforms", none of which would pass muster in our own schools! We are hoping for decent weather for our weekend (the 12th June) and an early start - getting on the water at 8am means that the waves aren't too choppy!

Please help if you can - every little counts. Thank you.
