UPDATE AFTER THE RIDE

Here we are on Brighton Seafront proudly wearing our medals! Thank you very much indeed for sponsoring us

Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside

I do like to be beside the sea!

I do like to stroll upon the Prom, Prom, Prom!

Where the brass bands play:

"Tiddely-om-pom-pom!"

So just let me be beside the seaside

I'll be beside myself with glee

And there's lots of girls beside,

I should like to be beside

Beside the seaside!

Beside the sea!

So far we have raised/been promised  £ 2,035.42  including tax relief

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

BEFORE THE RIDE

On Sunday 21st June 2009, Hugh (my eldest son, 32 years old) and I (62 years young) are cycling 54 miles from London to Brighton to raise money for the Ironmongers' Foundation Scholarship Scheme. We are committed to raise £5000 which will pay for one scholar for one year.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Ironmongers' Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now! Thanks very much for your support.
