----------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the Salar Expedition. My aim is to cross Salar de Uyuni and back again solo and unsupported.

Salar de Uyuni at 10.5 thousand square kilometers (4,000 sq mi) is the world's largest salt flat and is located in Bolivia.
The desert is at an altitude of 3.7 km (12,000 ft) and is basically a pool of brine 2 to 20 meters (7 to 66 ft) deep covered by a hard salt crust with a thickness varying between tens of centimeters to a few meters.

East Anglian Air Ambulance (my chosen charity) provides life-saving services to people in life-threatening situations such as road traffic accidents, incidents involving people in inaccessible places, cardiac arrests.

Your donations will be really appreciated.
