Tomorrow Sally Fearsome Legs Frankish is leading a small but gorgeous team of intrepid 'athletes'  in an attempt to cycle the 146 miles from Workington to Tynemouth over 3 days. For reasons I can't begin to understand (I hate cycling) I decided to sign up. Morag, as a Cumbria Wildlife Trust employee, was given no choice in the matter (not really!) and Christine apparently really really wanted to be on the team......

As an incentive to get on the saddle and go the distance I am cycling for 2 local charities:  Cumbria Wildlife Trust and also for Let Go a domestic violence charity in Cumbria (offline donations by cheque only) in memory of my friend who was murdered by her partner in October 2007.
