I know you will think that this is my biggest mid-life crisis to date and it is..over 150km of cycling up three mountains in France.  I wanted to do this event last year but my mum was diagnosed with ovarian cancer.  In the past 12 months I have seen her relentless fight with cancer and have begun to understand how important organisations like the East Cheshire Hospice are.  This event is the biggest sporting challenge I have ever undertaken.  I would love the hours of pain (and bruises!) to enable me to raise money for East Cheshire Hospice.  Now, if you see me in the next two weeks looking uncomfortable when I sit down you will understand why...!
