Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  This walk is especially in memory of our Mum, Jenny Moore, who passed away in St Wilfrid's Hospice on 2nd June following a short illness. Her last week there was very special to us as she was cared for with so much love and dignity and the relief to us, the family, was immense.

NEWS UPDATE!

The Hospice Chief Executive, Kara, has just shared with us (volunteers and staff) that there is now the possibility of a New Site in sight -

"Kara is delighted to inform everyone that we now have a very strong contender for the new site.  We are currently looking into the finer details but ifthis should prove unsuccessful there are one, possibly two, other contenders.  Kara is very optimistic that the timetable is achievable and as previously notified the timetable is: purchase the site this year, decide the planning next year, asward the contract at the beginning of 2011 and move in 2012.  At the present time, due to commercial sensitivities, she is unable to give any indication on the proposed sites location, but willas soon as she is in a position to do so!
