THANK YOU to all to date who have sponsored me on both my pages. I completed the marathon in 3.48, not my best but for me I was thrilled after a awlful two weeks prior to the event. It was pretty hot but so pleased to have got round and was a fantastic day, London was a bloom. I am aiming to run this years London Marathon on the 26th April, hoping to raise money for both charities Starlight Foundation and also in memory of Ali Rainback a good friend and amazing guy. Ali was a talented and inspirational ski instructor who was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in November 2007 and sadly passed away on 22 June 2008. He was fortunate to spend his last 7 weeks at The Hospice of St Francis where he received the specialist palliative care that only they can provide. Ali felt safe, comfortable and happy in the warm and loving environment created by the dedicated professionals caring for him and which should be available to everyone. He was a very special and generous person who touched and enriched the lives of thousands and the hope of his family is that those lucky enough to have known him will help to reach their target of £100,000 to fund a bed for one year to help others as Ali wished. I am aiming to help towards this fantastic Target and in memory of an inspirartion person. THANK YOU you so much for your help and this is for you Ali ......Sally X
