My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I still can't quite believe it. Firstly that I've volunteered myself for this event, then that I've been accepted.
On the 11th of May 2012 I shall begin the first of ten marathons in ten days around Lake Windermere.
Although a huge personal challenge, 10 in 10 has one main aim - to raise valuable funds for the Brathay Trust.
The Brathay Trust works with many of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in the UK to help them develop the skills, confidence and motivation to make positive choices in their lives.Every £1 raised from the Brathay Windermere Marathon and the 10 in 10 helps to change the lives of even more children and young people from some of the most underpriveledged communities in the UK.
The thought of ten marathons may be a little too much but why not challenge yourself to just one! On the 10th day of our challenge we will be joined by hundreds of other runners in the Brathay marathon. Why not be one of them - there's plenty of time to get training.
