Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. As most of you will know I am taking part in a charity bike ride in January 2010 in aid of Chestnut Tree Childrens Hospice. The bike ride is going to be a real challenge as I will be cycling 400km between Vietnam and Cambodia in very humid 30c temperatures!!
I have various fund raising events planned throughout this year including a speed dating evening, cake sales, car boot sales and a charity race night so i'm going to be a very busy girl .... not to mention the cycle training I will need to do!
Chestnut tree house is an amazing charity, and I am very pleased to fund raise for them. It is the only children's hospice in Sussex and cares for children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses from all over the county. The hospice costs approximately £2 million per year to run. Families are not charged for their care and the hospice receives very little government funding so it relies almost entirely on the generosity, help and support of the people of Sussex.
