I DID IT ..... I DID IT !!!!!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page

I ran the 2009 London Marathon on 26 April my first ever Marathon. It was an amazing experience, everybody talks about the crowds seeing you through and it is true. The day was very hot and that created a party atmosphere with many people holding picnics and BBQ's. My body held up quite well although my hip( which has an artifical implant) hurt from mile 4, luckily Richard and Jack were on hand at mile 6 to give me pain killers. I felt overwhelmed crossing the finishing line 4 hours and 50 minutes after I started, but boy was I please with myself.

I am raising funds for Arthritis Care as I am fortunate to no longer live with the pain caused by arthritis. I am nearly at my target and your donation will get me there.
