Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On the eve of the 3rd of November, in a moment of madness a group of friends decided to do something good, something bonkers but for a good cause!!
Following the recent loss of a good friends mum it was a unanimous decision to raise money for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation in memory of  Barbara Ann Kellett and so the bonfire beard challenge was born.
All participants have agreed not to shave their beards from the 1st Dec – 24th Dec 07.  The rule is they can shape their beard but the actual growth must not be cut in length.  Eat your heart out Grizzly Adams we will have an amusing month watching the different growths all in the name of a good cause!!

Mad beard growers include; Russ Hurst, Rob Hayton, Stuart Cross, Simon Hands, John Hutchings, Allan Smith, Jim Kippax, Iain Tyson, Sam Collinson and if we recruit any more I will update our page.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Rosemere Cancer Foundation will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Please donate generously.

Many thanks for your support.
