My story

Dear All

As some of you may know, in November I'll be cycling 400km (over 10 days) from Angkor Wat in Cambodia  to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.  
I'll  be cycling with a  group of   people whose  aim is to  raise money for children who live on rubbish heaps.

 The project is well run by a Vietnamese friend of mine and the money raised will go directly into building  a school  for these children, thus giving them hope for the future.  We'll be visiting the project centre for the school  en route and I'll be able to send people pictures and detailed information about the project once I have seen it. 

 I know we all get asked for donations daily but if you felt inclined to sponsor me I would be very grateful. All the money raised will go to this charity.
 I have personally paid all the costs for flights accommodation etc.

 Cambodia is one of the poorest and most devastated countries in the world.  With child mortality four times the average even for South East Asia. In rural areas most families live on less than 75 cents a day. More than half the children aged 5- 17 have to work to support their families and only 9 % ever go to school.
