Because I'm slightly bonkers I've decided to attempt my first ever marathon on 26th May and I went for the Edinburgh marathon as the leaflet said it was the flattest route out there - so here's hoping it's true! :)

I've decided to run for Macmillan Cancer, as I have a very close friend who is a Macmillan nurse. I have seen first hand the great work she does and the support she gives patients and families at a very stressful and emotional time. Hopefully, none of my friends and family will ever need to call on them, but if they do, I know their nurses will give and support all they can and I want to help make sure they are there to do this.

So people, please dig deep under the sofa for that loose change or through your dusty wallets/purses and give all you can! Every little penny helps and anything you can give is greatly appreciated :)
