On 12th July this year I will be taking part in Challenge Roth in Germany. This is an Ironman distance triathlon and before you ask I DONT KNOW WHY!!!

For those that dont know or cant remember this is whats in store for me

Challnege Roth...... its a 2.4 mile or 3.8 km open water swim , a 112 mile or 180 km bike  ride then a 26 mile or 42 km run to finish ......yes thats a full marathon to finish and all in under 17 hours!!!!

Before hopefully making a donation think of this........Im on an Oil Rig just 2.4 miles from the shore of Aberdeen. I jump off the Rig and swim to the shore, I then jump on my bike and cycle to Edinburgh. Once at Edinburgh I just run home to Peebles. Thats roughly whats in store for me .

And all the above will be done in lycra thats got to be worth a few pounds itself
