So what can I say here that will help you find your visa-card?
I have been through some swings and roundabouts, and I feel this is right up my street!

I'm going to Costa Rica and Nicaragua for 10 weeks in July to volunteer with Raleigh International. I have left it quite late to join up for this: I have just until the beginning of June to pay!

As well as a three week-trek(!), I will be doing some of the following:

Living in the proverbial sticks, proper third world stuff with no amenities!
Building: either a school, hospital, bridge or water treatment centre. Most probably working on a forest trail.

Most likely getting bitten by lots of bugs, certainly getting fit and hopefully changing mine, and perhaps even other peoples lives!!!
