West Highland Way · 5 March 2009

The RSA is a national charity providing vital support and advice to sufferers and their carers. It aims to promote a greater awareness of Raynaud's and scleroderma; raises funds for research and welfare projects and improves communication between doctors and patients.

Story

I walked the 100 mile west highland way trek from Glasgow to Fort William. My trek started on Monday 8th June and I arrived in Fort William Friday 12th (20x miles per day). Went to the Rockness festival on the Saturday which was lots of fun and then travelled back home to Glasgow on the Sunday (by train).

My wee cousin Samantha has had Raynaud's for a number of years and the way she copes and manages to keep her spirits up is an inspiration to me.

Rather than messing about with sponsor sheets/cash etc the Raynauds Association suggested online donations through Justgiving as it is quick, easy and totally secure. The RSA gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
