EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

Ross Wood died tragically aged 22 years on the 19th November 2007. He was attacked in the street by a gang of youths, one of whom punched him to the ground . He suffered Brain Injuries and after three days his life support was withdrawn as medical staff could do no more . If things had been different we would have had to care for Ross for the rest of his life . I would like to try and help people in this situation as it could have so easily been Ross that needed 24 hour care . Any donation is appreciated as it all counts no matter how big or small .

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Headway - the brain injury association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.
