I’m all set to hike to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak standing at the height of 5,895m, from July 3rd to the 11th. The trek is being organized by Gulf for Good, a Dubai-based charity that aims to support children through various sports challenges around the world. For more information about the charity, and the challenge I'm participating in please see www.gulf4good.org.
The money raised from my trek to Mt. Kilimanjaro will be given to PLAN, a child-centered international development charity, described in more detail on your left. More particularly, the funds raised will provide the financial support needed to build four child-friendly consultation rooms as well as a waiting bay at the Mbagathi District Hospital in Nairobi, Kenya. The expansion of the hospital is vital to the provision of better response and attention to a growing population of sick children.
I would very much like for us to support this project together.
Thanks for stopping by!
