Bupa Great South Run 2009 · 25 October 2009 ·

We provide a place of belonging and growth in order that we might be equipped to support our communities and initiate projects. We are actively involved in the local community, the city and internationally, working in partnership for the benefit of all, especially the vulnerable and disadvantaged.

Story

So the four of us are running the Great South Run on Sunday 25th October and three of us are doing it in outfits. I'm doing it in a wedding dress, Tim is doing it in a Minnie Mouse outfit, Simon in a Mickey Mouse outfit and Charlie we're still working on.

We're raising money for Edith's Home which is a charity teaching HIV/AIDS orphans in Uganda vocational skills and putting them through school. At the minute they are supporting over 100 orphans having only been a charity since 2004. They are always looking to support more orphans but can only do this with more donations.

Edith's Home have a sponsorship scheme in which an individual or family can sponsor a child through school and will receive regular updates from the orphan they are sponsoring. If you would like to do this or to know more about the charity the website is: www.edithshome.com
