Story
I can't run the Race for Life this year (knee injury does not permit) but I'm still taking part and this time I am taking Ffion with me. As always I am part of a team of women from Lloyds Banking Group in Newport who are taking part - we are trying to raise £1000 from sponsorship and then we will get it matched by LBG. I have so many reasons to take part: my friend Cath who was taken by cancer before her 30th birthday; Huw had a malignant melanoma removed 5 years ago; so many friends who have been touched by this disease and only a couple of weeks ago someone in work was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Race for Life is a great way to raise money and show support for all those who have been affected by this terrible disease. Please give if you can. Thanks
