Ireland desperately needs young leaders who will lead with integrity and bring the hope of lasting change to their communities. Young people like James, who is giving up his spare time to volunteer in homework clubs, helping kids at risk of dropping out of school.
My dream in setting up Innovista in Ireland is to see hundreds of young leaders like James, making a positive difference in communities all across Ireland. To train and support these young leaders to make a difference we need your support!
I believe that change is possible, that young people in Ireland, with training and support can be agents of hope in a nation in the midst of recession which has lost faith in its leaders. That's why I'm going to buckle down and get training for the 25km mountain bike, 10km cross country run and 1km kayak challenge. And for those of you who know me you'll know that will be a challenge!
