Story

Thank you for visiting this site and for your support. All runners have finished the race in good time.

I am a senior A-CET student. I was supported by A-CET during my undergraduate (BSc. in Engineering, Ethiopia ) and graduate studies (Msc.in Information Systems Management, DMU Leicester and MPhil in Computational Biology, Cambridge University). I am now working on malaria research at Sanger Institute in Cambridge prior to my Wellcome Trust funded PhD.

Currently, I am a trustee and executive assistant to the CEO. I also take part in supporting A-CET students in Ethiopia and helping A-CET’s overseas awareness and fund raising.

We are raising money in support of our elementary school upgrading projects. More than 92% of the money donated goes to projects/students.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: African Children's Educational Trust (www.a-cet.org) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
