Hi my name is Sam Wright, and I will be running the London Marathon on to raise much needed funds for The Greenwich & Bexley Cottage Hospice.

This is a truly remarkable place which is run by amazing people, that are looking after both the patients in their care, and the close families around these patients who unfortunately have life limiting illnesses.

I lost my Father to Cancer in 2003, and he spent his last 10 days in the care of the wonderful nurses and doctors that work at the Hospice, and I really want to be able to give something back to the Hospice which I am sure has had a impact on many residents lives of both Greenwich & Bexley.

Before deciding to run the Marathon, I have only ever chased after a Football, and I really need as much motivation and inspiration as I can get for both the endless miles of training, and even more importantly for the actual day and the 26 Miles which lay ahead!  What better incentive is there for me, than the generous support of as many people that I know as possible, to enable me to raise as much money as possible for the Hospice.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity

Please support me as generously as you can. I really appreciate your help.

Many thanks.

Sam
