Dreams Come True is a UK children’s charity whose sole purpose is to fulfil the dreams of terminally and seriously ill children and young people aged 2 to 21. In the last twenty years we have helped make over 3500 dreams come true and as a result debilitating illness, painful treatment and an uncertain future have been transformed with happiness, fun and wonderful, everlasting memories. You can make a world of difference by helping us make more dreams become a reality. If we can find a way to make a dream come true we will as we believe the only limit is a child’s imagination.

My story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Next week I will be running in the Marathon Des Sables, billed as the toughest foot race on earth! The event is 150 miles over the Morrocan Sahara desert, across sand dunes in temperatures of up to 50 degrees centigrade.

I will be doing the running so you've got the easy part all you need to do is sponsor some cash. I'll be funding this little adventure myself so dont worry all the money raised is going straight to the charity.

It will also be possible to send me an email message between the 28th March & 3rd April, so if you fancy sending me some support, news, footy results or even someabuse! go to www.darbaroud.comand look for the "écrire aux concurrents/write to competitors" section and you should be able to send me a text only message (no pictures/attachments), This section doesnt go live untill the race starts (28th)
