A lovely hot day so the jump went ahead.  Absolutely amazing, and thanks to Headcorn Parachute club for making sure I wasn't nervous and enjoyed myself.  If you still wish to sponsor me, you can - this page will stay open for sometime yet.  Thanks to all those who have sponsored me.

Having had cancer and having been a participant on an Odyssey programme in 2006, and a volunteer on a number of programmes since, I know first hand why Odyssey is such a unique cancer charity.   Due to the confidence that I suddenly have, I appear to have taken leave of my senses and am going to do a tandem parachute jump that was given to me as a Christmas present (not sure if Ian is trying to tell me something!). So I thought I should use the opportunity to raise some funds for Odyssey.  I would like to exceed my target by a long way, so every donation, big or small, counts.  The jump will take place one sunny weekend before the end of June and I pity the poor chap that I will be strapped to since I appear to have a reputation for being a liabiltiy!

No amount of money that I raise could ever repay the benefit I gained from Odyssey, but if I can help to cover the cost for someone else to have the same experience, that has to be good.
