About the charity
The Sandpiper Trust provides specialist emergency medical equipment for doctors and nurses in remote parts of Scotland. These practitioners undergo immediate care training provided by ‘Basics Scotland’ which enables them to deliver lifesaving procedures to accident victims during the Golden Hour. 700 Sandpiper bags are in use. Many lives have been saved.
