The Sandpiper Trust provides emergency medical equipment for trained medical professionals in remote parts of Scotland. Our aim is to save lives across Scotland; lives which might otherwise have been lost because it’s not always possible for emergency treatment to be administered quickly enough.

Story

On the 20th March, hundreds from the Fettes community will be undertaking a 5km, 10km or Half Marathon run in aid of the Sandpiper Trust. There are occasions in Scotland where it may take a long time for an ambulance to reach a casualty. It is vital that doctors attending the scene have the equipment to stabilise the patient until the emergency services arrive. It is this direct action that can so often be the difference between life and death. The runners from the Fettes family hope to raise as much as we can in order to equip doctors with these Sandpiper bags and save as many lives as possible.

Please help them achieve their goal.
