My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On Sunday April 26th I'm running the London Marathon for the 6th time! I must be mad or in need of a job or both! Once again I desperately need your support to get me round those 26.2 miles!

I am raising money for Heart Link a local charity based at Glenfield hospital. Heart Link supported us when Emma, who has a hole in her heart, was being treated at the hospital in 2000. Luckily Emma is now a healthy 9 year old but still has biannual check ups at Glenfield. By supporting me you can raise money for their 4D scanner appeal.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Heart Link gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

I really appreciate your support especially since so many of you were so generous in supporting me for the Dublin marathon in October 2008. It really is such a massive motivator to get me though those miles for such a good cause.
