Lisa @ Emmie B Interiors, Andrew @ Brownlow Furniture and Jonathan Rimmer @ Essential Design are teaming up on Saturday 25th April to walk the challenging 34 mile Sandstone Trail in one day!

We recently saw a presentation from Clatterbridge Cancer Charity about how the hospital was trying to raise funds to invest in a brand new leading edge radiotherapy treatment system - a Varian Edge linear accelerator. The NHS have given them funding for a more basic machine however Clatterbridge want to invest in the very best on the market which will make them the first hospital in the UK to install this latest upgrade in radiotherapy equipment, setting them apart from other cancer hospitals.

The challenge is to convert £50 into £1000 fund raising by end of May to help support and raise funds towards this equipment that will revolutionise treatment & research at the hospital.

So we got our heads together and came up with this crazy idea of walking the whole of the Sandstone Trail in one day.....34 miles from Frodsham to Whitchurch!!!!! and if that wont be a challenge in itself we are going to do it dressed as bee's. Hence Team 'B'eat Cancer.

The training has commenced... so we would really appreciate it if you could dig deep into your pockets and donate as much as you can towards this great cause as we're sure that cancer has effected everyones life at some stage whether it be a family member or friend.
