Story
Big thankyou to everyone who has sponsored me so far!!! I really appreciate it :)
***I'm now aiming for £3000 so to any last minute sponsoring stragglers who may be viewing..pretty please will you sponsor me? C'mon, you know it makes sense!****
I'm running the San Francisco Marathon (http://www.runsfm.com) on July 30th this year. I decided to do this for two reasons - 1) To raise money for a great cause. My dad found out he had MND late last year which made me decide to raise funds for this charity. Training isn't always fun (especially not on cold Sunday mornings when it's raining!) but when you're raising money for something that means something to you it's a lot easier to get motivated.
and 2)The personal challenge - and where better to do this than my favourite place in the world! Those of you that know me will probably have got sick of hearing me go on about San Francisco ages ago.
The more you can sponsor me the better! My employer (HSBC) will match £ for £ up to £500..
All the expenses (flight, hotel, race registration, etc.) are being paid by ME not the charity, so more money goes to the charity.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association is the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland working to help people with MND secure the care and support they need, while also promoting research into causes, treatments and a cure.
Thanks again for looking and for your support :)
**Not long now!!**
