Following a gin and tonic fuelled piece of bravado  on holiday last year, I plan with a friend from New York, reassuringly called Chris “Sumo” Taylor, to cycle some 3.500 miles across the USA from San Francisco to New York.

This epic adventure begins on the Golden Gate Bridge SF, on 20th September  and we hope to complete the cycle in one month  averaging some 100 miles plus a day, taking in such “delights” as the Sierra Nevada, the Nevada Desert, and the Rockies.

We both thought it would be a great opportunity to raise some funds for the trip and I propose to raise some monies for Brain Tumour UK and support the Ed Evans Foundation.

The Ed Evans Foundation was set up by Ed Evans before he passed away last October at the age of 27. For further information please visit www.edevansfoundation.co.uk

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Brain Tumour UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thanks Paul Evans
