Story
<p>Over the summer, I had the pleasure to teach in South Africa. Both in the Mamelodi Township and later on in inner city Johannesburg. Whilst I was in Mamelodi, I visited the school library on a free period and noticed a new delivery of books - the same books I had been using in my PGCE placement school.</p>
<p>It turned out that School-Aid had recently sent them a supply of books that would mean for the first time ever, the kids would have lots of information to go with what the teachers told them. Something I know they will lap up!</p>
<p>Now, anyone who knows what happened when I ran the Berlin Marathon, will know that I vowed never to do it again. But I've solely entered it because of raising money for charity. And I'm really hoping that this small charity could get a little boost from my plodding along. the marathon is part of a big raft of races that I'm running, so surely it's worth a little bit of cash?!</p>
